Almost Now

The board never stops moving. You get one press per run — that’s the whole game.

One of the drifting dots is the igniter, and it carries a ring that shows how far its blast reaches. Press, and everything inside that ring goes off. Everything inside their rings goes off too. The chain keeps running until it runs out of dots.

Dots close enough to pass the chain along are joined by a line — but only around your ring. You can see what you are about to set off and where it heads next. How far it actually runs is the part you don’t get to know until you press.

Your score is the chain itself: how many it caught, times how deep it went. Take the whole board and it’s an ALL CLEAR.

Wait too long and you get nothing — you have eight seconds, and then the run is over.

So the only question is when.

How to play

• Space, Enter, or click / tap. One press per run.
• Follow the lines out of your ring. Four dots that lead somewhere beat six that lead nowhere.
• The number above the ring counts the first blast only.
• When the run ends, the whole network is revealed — including the gap that stopped you. That is where you learn the board.
• Press again to start the next run.

Notes

• Plays in the browser. No account, no install, nothing sent to a server.
• Your best score is kept in your own browser only.
• A run is over in about ten seconds. It is meant to be replayed.

盤面は止まりません。押せるのは1プレイに1回だけ。それがこのゲームの全部です。

漂う点のうち1つが着火点で、爆発がどこまで届くかを示すリングを連れています。押すと、リングの中にある点が誘爆します。その点それぞれのリングの中も誘爆します。連鎖は、巻き込む点が尽きるまで続きます。

連鎖が渡れる距離にある点どうしは線で結ばれています。ただし見えるのはリングの周りだけ。何を巻き込んで、そこからどちらへ渡るかまでは読めますが、どこまで伸びるかは押すまで分かりません。

スコアは連鎖そのもの——何個巻き込んだか × どこまで深く続いたか。盤面を全部巻き込むと ALL CLEAR です。

待ちすぎると何も起きません。持ち時間は8秒で、そこでそのプレイは終わります。

だから問題は「いつ押すか」だけです。

遊び方

• リングから出ていく線をたどってください。どこへも繋がらない6個より、先のある4個です
• リングの上の数字は最初の爆発の分だけです
• プレイが終わると網の全体が明かされます。止まった原因の切れ目もそこで見えます。盤面の読み方はここで覚えます
• もう一度押すと次のプレイが始まります
